To own the operating model, process efficiency and strategy across CNA Hardy. Driving improved performance and continuous improvement measured via our KPIs, whilst instilling the discipline and integrity through adherence to our Core Principles and Procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement standard Operational Excellence methodologies and practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Lead operational excellence team to ensure successful delivery of end to end process improvements.
· Lead workstreams focused on business analysis and process improvement.
· Use analytical skills to provide trends as well as identify emerging patterns/exceptions and benchmark against market.
· Work with Underwriting Operations team and others to create, implement and then continually improve a control framework and reporting oversight that aligns to consistent monitoring of the controls for the Underwriting Operations department.
· Working with the broader organisation to ensure continuous improvement of data completeness and accuracy, ensuring that the data and MI aligns to requirements for portfolio management, improved insights and operational performance oversight.
· Liaise closely with management team to identify and drive cost benefit.
· Work with Business Change team to identify and prioritise IT related changes
· Meet all reporting/governance requirements including Lloyd's Minimum Standards, Conduct Risk and Solvency II.
· Keep abreast of new products/initiatives and provide recommendation, as well as driving the implementation and on boarding.
· Drive the implementation and execution of new and improved processes
· Develop resource and triage modelling enabling Underwriting Operations Leadership team to identify resource requirements.
· Work closely with Data & Analytics team to develop and enhance reporting driving increased performance and cost benefit.
· May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
· Experience in Insurance Underwriting Operations optimisation and in-depth knowledge of multiple Lean / CI / OPEX methodologies.
· Excellent stakeholder management at all levels.
· Understanding of business objectives and the market in which we operate.
