Arch Capital Services, LLC., seeks Cloud Architect in White Plains, NY
Job Duties: Manage the company's architecture and strengthen position in delivering private & public cloud infrastructure services for all Arch Organizations. Help drive the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) transformation journey, from designing automation frameworks to leading the implementation strategy, rollout plans & delivering hybrid cloud services. Work with various Arch Organizations across the globe to define the approach for sustaining the on-premises infrastructure stack, cloud migration opportunities, review the existing implementation, recommend strategies to improve resiliency, simplicity and optimize costs. Build a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process to deliver cloud services such as IaaS, Kubernetes and container orchestration, Serverless, load balancers, Database and Analytics services. Offer guidance with cloud migration techniques & strategies. Spearhead Infrastructure Automation strategy for delivering Cloud infrastructure services hosted across clouds leveraging infrastructure as code technologies. Establish processes to ensure adherence to Arch standards, controls, policies, and procedures working with various business units, Infosec organization, and stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Business or related field plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as software engineer, solution architect or related position.
Must have:
5 years of experience with multi-tenant data center architecture, including cloud architectures in design, implementation, and operations such as AWS or Azure.
5 years of experience delivering active Cloud technologies and service hosted in Azure or AWS.
3 years of experience with designing, developing, configuring, and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions with diverse solutions from multiple vendors on a large enterprise and global scale.
3 years of experience working on Automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates or similar.
3 years of experience delivering Infrastructure as Code and automating management & operations.
Experience working with multiple tier-1 cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar.
Experience with cloud hosting and provisioning technologies such as AKS or similar.
Experience with Azure DevOps for deployment including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with APM, monitoring, and logging at scale.
Experience working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business leaders.
Experience with public cloud security best practices, adoption frameworks, and reference architectures.
Able to telecommute from any location within the US. National travel required 10% of the time to attend in-person meetings and vendor conferences.
For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$180,003 to $201,066 per year (White Plains, NY)
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
