What the day will look like
Working on middle market to large global structured property programs, you will:
- Dive deep into client risk profiles, analyzing exposures and designing tailored coverage solutions that truly protect their interests
- Develop and present compelling marketing proposals for renewals and new business, showcasing your strategic insight
- Partner with underwriters to negotiate optimal terms, premiums, and coverage for every client
- Stay ahead of industry trends by actively networking, pursuing technical training, and engaging in ongoing client discussions
- Ensure all policy documentation—contracts, changes, additions, deletions, and renewals—is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Cultivate strong relationships within the underwriting community to deliver the best rates and coverage for Aon clients
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop innovative coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for both renewals and prospects
- Work seamlessly within the Central Region Broking Centre, partnering with Account Teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients
- Review and approve insurance documentation prepared by Associate Brokers, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Mentor, guide, and support the professional development of Associate Brokers and Brokers, helping to build a high-performing team

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Experience in commercial insurance (7+ years), with a strong preference for expertise in property risk
- RIBO license required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and establish relationships with clients and insurers alike
- Proven ability to handle opposing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with digital tools
- Collaborative team player who also excels working independently and proactively
- Insurance designations such as CRM, CIP, or CAIB are preferred and will be considered strong assets
