HR Reward & Data Analyst - Maternity Cover (14 months)

Description
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality people analytics and reward insights that inform strategic HR and business decisions. There will be a heavy focus on reward work including the annual remuneration cycle, including annual pay reviews, input to Group Executive and Remuneration Committee papers and plc reporting disclosures. The role will also be required to manage and report on HR data, providing input to the selection and presentation of appropriate metrics.
The role will have the opportunity to shape our approach to people analytics and data support the needs of a growing business.
Specific Responsibilities
Reward Cycle & Executive Reporting
- Support the annual compensation process, including modelling of salary, bonus, and long-term incentives
- Assist in preparing inputs for the Remuneration Committee and Group Executive papers
- Contribute to the Annual Remuneration Report and other statutory disclosures (e.g., Gender Pay Gap)
- Respond to audit queries related to remuneration and reporting
People Analytics & HR Metrics
- Produce and analyse data on key HR metrics (e.g., attrition, absence, recruitment)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine people metrics aligned to business needs
- Support the annual G&A budgeting process with accurate headcount and cost data
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of share plan activity for internal stakeholders and external disclosures (using the EquatePlus share administration platform)
Systems & Data Integrity
- Work with the technology team to optimise tools for HR data analysis and reporting
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll change data and outputs
- Support benchmarking exercises using proprietary platforms
Essential Skills & Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience of Reward and HR Data analysis, ideally in a listed, regulated environment
- Strong technical, numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organised and able to manage own time, meet deadlines and prioritise work independently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of using a range of different people and data analytics tools
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Experience with payroll processes and systems
- Familiarity with share plan administration platforms (e.g., EquatePlus by Computershare) and understanding of share scheme reporting requirements in a listed company context
- Exposure to people analytics tools (e.g., SAGE, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
